What you will do

• Define and execute the business development strategy for Solana in Japan.
• Build and maintain deep relationships with senior executives at major banks, financial institutions, and payment companies.
• Engage with regulators and represent the Foundation at industry forums and conferences.
• Collaborate with the local Superteam and global teams to support stablecoin and tokenization initiatives.
• Identify and scale high-impact enterprise and Web3 projects within the ecosystem.

Requirements

• 7–12 years of experience in business development or strategy within fintech, financial services, or blockchain.
• Fluency in Japanese and business-level English required.
• Established executive-level network in Japan across finance or technology sectors.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology and Japanese regulatory dynamics.
• Must be able to work effectively in the Japan region.

Nice to have

• Existing strong relationships with Japanese mega banks and large payment providers.
• Experience working in a distributed or global organization.
