What you will do

• Launch and maintain a scalable semantic data layer connected to AI tools.
• Scope and deploy infrastructure for production-facing AI features.
• Manage ETL/ELT pipelines to centralize data and orchestrate transformations.
• Maintain high availability for analytics and reporting API endpoints.
• Maintain and improve ML-based wait estimation implementations.
• Ensure strict anonymization and masking of sensitive data to prevent leakage.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, specifically BigQuery and Vertex AI.
• Hands-on experience with transformation tools like DBT or Dataform.
• Strong SQL proficiency.
• Theoretical understanding of semantic layer tools such as Cube.js or LookML.
• Master of Science in an applicable field.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.
• Prior experience in a SaaS environment with product-integrated analytics.
• MLOps experience and understanding of LLM/AI agent integration.
• Familiarity with PII handling and GDPR/CCPA workflows.
