TL;DR

Software Developer (Infrastructure): Building and maintaining core platform services and infrastructure tooling with an accent on developer productivity, system reliability, and cloud-native architecture. Focus on scaling distributed systems, improving Kubernetes-based infrastructure, and streamlining cloud provisioning workflows.

Location: Must be based in Toronto, Canada; requires in-person attendance at least 3 days per week.

Salary: $136,000 - $184,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Build and maintain infrastructure platforms and tooling to support application development and system reliability.
  • Develop backend systems using Go and Python to ensure scalable and maintainable codebases.
  • Design and manage Kubernetes-based compute platforms, controllers, and container infrastructure.
  • Partner with internal teams to provision and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Debug and resolve performance issues across complex distributed systems.

Requirements

  • Experience in backend or infrastructure development using languages such as Go or Python.
  • Must be able to work from the Toronto office at least 3 days per week.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
  • Proficiency in working with distributed systems and debugging complex infrastructure issues.
