Salary: $166,000 - $195,000 CAD

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure platforms, services, and tooling for large-scale applications.
• Own and deliver complex multi-phase technical projects from initial design to production rollout.
• Develop robust backend systems and shared services using Go and Python.
• Improve Kubernetes-based compute platforms, including cluster architecture and deployment controllers.
• Partner with internal engineering teams to optimize and provision AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve high-impact issues across distributed systems.

Requirements

• Must be able to work from the Toronto office 3 days per week.
• Strong experience building backend or infrastructure systems using Go, Python, or similar languages.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and AWS cloud platforms.
• Deep experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
• Proven track record leading technical projects and making architectural decisions.
• Comfortable mentoring engineers and contributing to team-wide technical direction.
