What you will do

• Lead the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of Workday modules including HCM, Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits.
• Architect and optimize scalable integrations, custom reports, and advanced security models for high reliability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams across People Operations, Finance, and Corporate Engineering to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
• Drive major initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, and international workforce expansion.
• Evaluate and implement AI-based capabilities to improve HR system efficiency and decision-making.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience working with Workday including configuration across HCM, Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits.
• Demonstrated architectural and design leadership with Workday integrations, reports, and security models.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical system solutions.
• Hands-on experience using Workday Studio and custom integration patterns using SOAP, REST, or WQL.
• Must be based in the Toronto office location to align with the in-office working environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Extend, Orchestrations, and Prism.
• Experience leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows and build AI-enabled automations.
