Senior AML Investigator (Fintech)

Location: Must be based in Lithuania; hybrid role with in-person attendance required at least 3 days per week in the Vilnius office.

Salary: €3,250 – €3,750 EUR gross monthly.

What you will do

• Lead comprehensive investigations into transaction monitoring alerts, screening hits, and fraud referrals for retail crypto clients.
• Perform detailed CDD, EDD, and ODD, specifically assessing Source of Funds and Source of Wealth in crypto contexts.
• Draft and submit mandatory SARs/STRs to the Lithuanian Financial Crime Investigation Service (FNTT).
• Identify emerging crypto-related financial crime typologies and contribute to internal monitoring rules and controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Fraud, Product, and Legal, ensuring alignment with global regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Lithuanian and English proficiency (spoken and written).
• Must be based in Lithuania.
• 4+ years of EU AML/CTF & Sanctions experience, including 3+ years in crypto compliance.
• Proven experience drafting and submitting SARs/STRs to competent authorities, with preference for FNTT knowledge.
• Ability to work across time zones with US-based stakeholders.
