What you will do

• Collect, clean, and analyze vast datasets including market data, PM position data, social media sentiment, and economic indicators.
• Develop and deploy machine learning and statistical models to forecast sector, alpha, and security movements.
• Conduct rigorous hypothesis testing to refine models and ensure decision-making robustness.
• Handle complex data preparation and management workflows for analysis and model building.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and findings.
• Communicate complex data insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master’s or above) in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Deep understanding of statistical and probability analysis and quantitative methods.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• Experience with data manipulation libraries like pandas and NumPy.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn or TensorFlow.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for deriving insights from complex datasets.

Nice to have

• Good understanding of financial markets, market microstructure, and trading algorithms.
• Research or experience related to behavioral finance.
