What you will do

• Develop and maintain robotics software systems specifically designed for real-world deployment.
• Build perception-to-action pipelines connecting sensing, decision-making, and safety.
• Improve HRI robustness through voice, vision, and motion integration.
• Integrate and validate autonomous navigation for humanoid and mobile robot platforms.
• Design practical failure-handling, monitoring, and recovery systems for fleet operation.
• Collaborate with hardware and product teams to bridge the gap between lab research and field deployment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in robotics software, autonomy, or real-world robotic systems.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python or C++.
• Expertise in at least one key area: navigation, SLAM, HRI, system integration, or simulation.
• Ability to debug and ship across the full robotics stack.
• Business-level Japanese or strong conversational ability preferred for field collaboration in Japan.
• Strong interest in embodied AI and real-world deployment challenges.

Nice to have

• Experience with humanoid robots or mobile manipulators (e.g., Unitree platforms).
• Experience with ROS2, MoveIt, PyTorch, or reinforcement learning.
• Practical experience in operational environments like hospitals or logistics.
• Knowledge of manipulation systems such as pick-and-place or grasping.
