What you will do

• Serve as the founding site lead for the new Berlin R&D hub.
• Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing engineering organization.
• Partner with Product and Design leadership to shape strategy and deliver key initiatives.
• Establish operational rhythm and cross-location collaboration practices with Dublin and London hubs.
• Coach and mentor engineering talent to foster a high-performance, AI-forward culture.
• Drive significant organization-level improvements to build and ship processes.

Requirements

• Deep technical background and experience leading large engineering organizations (100+ engineers).
• Director+ level experience at a high-growth technology or SaaS company.
• Proven track record of standing up or significantly scaling engineering sites.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Berlin.
• Strong experience in engineering strategy, operational execution, and cultural leadership.
• Ability to partner effectively across cross-functional leadership teams.

• Experience with AI/ML product development.
• Background in customer support or conversational AI spaces.
