What you will do

• Own and execute product direction for Hardhat & EDR.
• Act as the primary owner of product prioritization decisions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for engineers for product and UX guidance.
• Take over core product responsibilities currently handled by Head of Engineering and CTO.
• Define UX expectations, API behavior, and developer-facing feature design.
• Work closely with engineering teams to align on dependencies, sequencing, and trade-offs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner on technical, developer-facing products or platforms.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior professional experience as a Software Engineer, with hands-on work in a strongly typed language such as TypeScript, Rust, C++, C#, Java, or Go.
• A strong user-focused product mindset, with demonstrated judgment around trade-offs, collaborative problem-solving, and accountability for end-to-end outcomes.
• Experience translating developer needs into clear product requirements, PRDs, and product design documentation.
• Process-driven product work experience across discovery, design, iteration, and release cycles.
• Ability to evaluate technical feasibility, architectural constraints, and engineering trade-offs from a product perspective.
