What you will do

• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Sales teams to improve operational processes within Japan's regulatory framework.
• Coordinate with global product teams to assess requirements and ensure local compliance for new product launches.
• Manage product governance and oversee daily exchange operations using a structured approach.
• Identify business gaps and provide practical implementation recommendations to support growth.
• Develop and maintain reporting frameworks for critical business metrics on a weekly and monthly basis.

Requirements

• Must be based in Japan or have a deep understanding of the Japanese regulatory and business environment.
• 5+ years of experience in product/business operations or strategy, preferably in fintech, crypto, or finance.
• 2+ years of experience in management consulting or strategic advisory.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Japanese (written and spoken).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive execution under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience in exchange operations or the crypto/payments business.
