AI Engineer Intern (Database Performance Knowledge)

AI Engineer Intern (Database Performance Knowledge): Creating a Results Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline to obtain system performance information and relevant administrative documents for use by the LLM to recommend changes to the HCL Informix Database Server configuration with an accent on capturing needed metrics from the running server. Focus on implementing the RAG workflow using the HCL Informix database, hirify.global MCP for HCL Informix, and the hirify.global HCL Vector Blade for HCL Informix.

Location: US-Remote

Salary: $20 - $30 an hour

What you will do

• Configure a chat client (VSCode) to interact with the configured MCP Server(s).
• Create new MCP Tools to capture needed metrics from the running server.
• Create a database with vectorized Knowledge Base documents using the HCL Vector blade for HCL Informix.
• Implement the RAG workflow using the HCL Informix database, hirify.global MCP for HCL Informix, and the hirify.global HCL Vector Blade for HCL Informix.

Requirements

• Must be actively enrolled in a college degree program.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
