What you will do

• Design and build a safe working environment, focusing on process standardizations.
• Lead the evolution of a global health and safety management system to align with company growth.
• Ensure compliance with local and international health and safety regulations, translating legal obligations into clear company policies.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for new and existing offices, identifying hazards proactively through regular site reviews.
• Innovate and improve systems by monitoring performance, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with teams as a subject-matter expert in health and safety to drive projects from initiation to completion.

Requirements

• A Técnico Superior de Segurança no Trabalho qualification.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience as a Safety Manager in a global organisation.
• A deep understanding of health and safety principles, regulatory compliance, and EHS best practices.
• Solid knowledge of risk management and assessment, particularly regarding launching business in new countries.
• Impeccable strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to align safety initiatives with business objectives.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech.
• Experience with global employee safety and duty of care.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of Javascript (for automation/scripting).
