Senior QA Engineer (Medtech)

Senior QA Engineer (Medtech): Ensuring high-quality delivery of software products across cloud, AI-powered, and mobile platforms with an accent on functional, regulatory, and user requirements. Focus on end-to-end testing, hardware integration with medical devices, and interoperability with external healthcare systems.

Location: This is a hybrid position and will be based out of our office in New York City, NY. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.

Salary: around $100,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

What you will do

• Design, document, and execute test cases across cloud, AI-powered, and mobile platforms.
• Lead system validation for workflows connecting cloud, AI components, mobile applications, and integrated devices.
• Perform end-to-end testing, including mobile-to-cloud workflows and hardware integration with medical devices.
• Test connectivity and interoperability with healthcare systems such as EHRs, PACS, and DICOM interfaces.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to verify that new features perform as expected.
• Identify, document, and track defects through the full lifecycle and verify fixes.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Software QA, including cloud and mobile applications.
• Experience testing AI-enabled software or cloud-based platforms.
• Solid understanding of test planning, execution, and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience with connectivity and interoperability testing in healthcare (like, EHR, PACS, DICOM).
• Strong cross-functional collaboration from product definition to release.
• Experience using Test Management, Bug tracking and reporting tools such as JIRA.

Nice to have

• Experience in a regulated environment (medical device, healthcare, or similar).
• Experience with API Testing tools such as Postman.
• Knowledge of automation testing frameworks such as Cypress and Pytest.
