What you will do
- Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and test cases to validate system functionality, performance, accessibility, security and reliability.
- Perform manual and automated testing of web-based applications, including LMS features, integrations, and reporting functionality.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to support regression testing and continuous integration pipelines.
- Identify, document, and track defects, establish metrics, ensuring clear reproduction steps and timely resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to ensure requirements are testable, complete, and clearly understood.
- Validate system integrations, data flows, and API functionality across platform components.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or related roles in enterprise or federal environments.
- Proven experience performing both manual and automated testing of web-based applications.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar).
- Experience working within Agile development environments and participating in iterative delivery cycles.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into build and deployment processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
Nice to have
- Experience testing APIs, system integrations, and data workflows is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting performance and load testing for enterprise systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or similar enterprise platforms is highly desirable.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508) and experience validating user interfaces is preferred.
- Experience working in federal environments and supporting compliance frameworks is highly desirable.
