What you will do

• Manage the component portfolio and strategic purchasing activities for mechatronics products throughout their lifecycle.
• Lead improvement initiatives during acquisition and project development stages to secure optimal supplier solutions.
• Develop and execute commodity strategies to drive performance to top-quartile levels.
• Identify and implement cost reduction measures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct innovation scouting to identify new technological solutions and players to challenge the status quo.
• Lead annual contract negotiations across the supplier panel to ensure strategic objectives are met.

Requirements

• Academic degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing within a high-pressure environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Deep understanding of mechatronic component technologies and industry best practices.
• Proven track record of driving cost improvement opportunities.
• Very strong negotiation skills and a strategic mindset.
• English language proficiency is mandatory.
