What you will do

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain product features using Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, GraphQL, and SQL with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical leads to translate requirements into scalable AI-native software and provide risk assessments.
• Build deterministic software systems that manage and validate the stochastic nature of LLMs to ensure healthcare data accuracy.
• Apply and enforce software development best practices, design patterns, testing, and automation, leveraging emerging AI technologies.
• Use AWS services like Lambda, Kafka, and EKS for job and batch processing.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and mentor junior engineers in backend and AI-native development.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States
• BS or advanced degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience in server-side applications, APIs, integrations, and data processing.
• Expertise in compiled languages such as Go or Java.
• Proficiency with relational databases like PostgreSQL including schema design and SQL tuning.
• Knowledge of GraphQL APIs, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agentic Frameworks, MCP, LLM APIs (Anthropic/OpenAI), and Prompt Engineering/Evals.
