TL;DR
Fullstack Data Engineer (Finance): Building and optimizing data products and lightweight applications for ’s operational and financial workflows with an accent on cloud-based pipeline architecture and internal tool development. Focus on designing scalable ELT/ETL solutions, automating manual processes, and ensuring business-critical data reliability within a multidisciplinary team.
Location: Hybrid role based in Rotterdam. Must be able to work from the office 40% of the time.
Salary: €83,000–€117,000 gross per year.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain scalable data products for financial and operational processes.
- Build and improve robust data pipelines using a modern cloud-based stack.
- Design and maintain internal applications using tools like Streamlit to solve workflow inefficiencies.
- Monitor and troubleshoot business-critical data flows to ensure high reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate operational needs into data-driven solutions.
- Contribute to code quality through documentation, reviews, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with modern cloud data platforms like Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Knowledge of data modelling, quality, governance, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with building data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and internal tools.
- Ability to communicate technical outcomes and user value effectively.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kafka, dbt, or Power BI.
- Familiarity with finance, back-office processes, or the energy sector.
- Interest in leveraging AI-assisted development tools.
