Location: Must be based in the U.S. Remote-first role with requirements to attend multiple company-wide and team-specific onsites throughout the year.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and deploy full-stack features while contributing to architectural strategy.
• Prototype and ship features quickly, using data to validate product assumptions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and operations to shape the product roadmap.
• Partner with customer teams to understand user friction and improve product usability.
• Lay the foundation for system performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Help define engineering best practices and influence technical hiring within the business unit.

Requirements

• Must be based in the U.S.
• 3–8+ years of professional software engineering experience in startup-like environments.
• Full-stack fluency including React, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Python or Node.js, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks, ship continuously, and solve complex problems autonomously.
• Comfort and curiosity in utilizing AI tools to improve development speed and quality.
• Experience in direct collaboration with end-users and product stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in a founding or early engineer role.
• Familiarity with education, fundraising, or donor engagement sectors.
• Exposure to low-code tools or scrappy MVP development.
• Past contributions to product design or GTM strategy.
