What you will do

• Oversee the design and implementation of product features across applications, APIs, and insights systems.
• Manage and grow a high-performing engineering team.
• Develop code hands-on alongside the team while driving architectural decisions.
• Collaborate with product and design stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Own features end-to-end, including scalability, security, and performance metrics.
• Establish and improve engineering standards and communication practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 7+ years of experience in a similar technical leadership role.
• Proven ability to split time between management and hands-on coding (50% or more).
• Deep expertise in software design, cloud technologies (AWS), and database management (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience scaling software and infrastructure in fast-paced environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with security/compliance standards.
