TL;DR

Financial Controller (Finance): Professionalizing and automating financial processes and controls for an international SaaS platform with an accent on IFRS/Dutch GAAP reporting, audit coordination, and AI-driven process improvements. Location: Must work on-site in Breda, Netherlands; requires permanent work and residence permit for the Netherlands.

What you will do

  • Perform financial analyses for month-end and year-end closings.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with IFRS and Dutch GAAP standards.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits on a domestic and international scale.
  • Identify and implement process improvements using AI, automation, and BI tools.
  • Prepare comprehensive internal and external financial reports.
  • Collaborate with finance, corporate, and business functions across the organization.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Accountancy or Finance (RA/CPA qualification is a plus).
  • Several years of Big 4 experience and a strong background in Accountancy.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge including IFRS and Dutch GAAP.
  • Proactive, analytical mindset with advanced Excel and BI tool proficiency.
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch (written and spoken) is required.
  • Must hold a permanent work and residence permit for the Netherlands.

Nice to have

  • RA or CPA certification.
  • Deep experience with automation and financial AI tooling.
