Security Engineer

What you will do

• Embed security practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Design and implement security features, safeguards, and internal tooling from concept to production.
• Strengthen the security posture to support enterprise customers with higher compliance expectations.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate abusive or harmful content on the platform.
• Define and advocate for internal security standards and architecture best practices.
• Mentor engineers and provide guidance on building secure systems across different product teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in Europe (+/- 3 hours of European time zones)
• Proven experience in a hands-on security engineering role within a product-focused environment.
• Strong ability to own security initiatives from proposal to execution.
• Experience in identifying and mitigating abuse or infrastructure-level security risks.
• Strong communication skills for advocating security standards and mentoring peer engineers.
