What you will do

• Lead full-stack architectural design across React, Swift, and Kotlin platforms.
• Drive technical strategy and roadmap development for the Biometrics platform aligned with NIST and FIDO standards.
• Design and optimize Python-based AI/ML backend systems for biometric processing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance with privacy regulations like BIPA, GDPR, and ETSI.
• Mentor engineering teams through complex technical challenges and code reviews.
• Champion software security best practices including cryptographic implementation and secure SDLC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a senior or staff-level engineering role with technical leadership.
• Expert-level proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, React, Swift, or Kotlin.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized deployment (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Deep understanding of software security principles, cryptography, and privacy-by-design.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-threaded, high-performance computing environments.
• Experience with zero-knowledge proof systems and post-quantum cryptography.
• Knowledge of identity protocols like OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, or SSO.
• Experience in biometrics, computer vision, or identity verification domains.
• Masters or PhD in Computer Science or Machine Learning.
