What you will do

• Design and develop APIs to standardize access to complex internal datasets using NestJS and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain frontend features using React, Redux, and TypeScript to ensure intuitive data visualization.
• Partner with data engineers to optimize queries and backend data representations.
• Own the full application development lifecycle from design to production.
• Contribute to data visualization strategy and self-serve tooling for complex datasets.
• Collaborate across teams to maintain high standards for API versioning, security, and performance.

Requirements

• Strong experience with modern JavaScript and TypeScript (Node.js/NestJS and React/Redux).
• Solid understanding of API design principles including authentication, scalability, and security.
• Experience working with varied data sources and databases.
• Prior experience building on top of large-scale data systems like Databricks, Kinesis, or ETL pipelines.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services such as DynamoDB and Lambda.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model from London, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted querying or natural language to SQL experiments.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, and observability platforms like DataDog.
• Interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
