What you will do

• Develop and maintain scalable customer-facing APIs, focusing on GraphQL-based analytics.
• Design and scale near real-time alerting systems, including anomaly detection and notification delivery.
• Optimize complex analytical queries and platform performance in collaboration with database teams.
• Build robust tooling for data exploration and customer-configured alerting.
• Ensure operational health through monitoring, documentation, and participation in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with product and frontend teams to define API contracts and deliver seamless data experiences.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in distributed systems and scalable API development.
• Strong programming skills in Go or similar performance-oriented languages.
• Proficiency in SQL and complex query optimization techniques.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and concurrency.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship for export control compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL development.
• Knowledge of data streaming technologies such as Kafka or Flink.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Salt.
• Experience with Linux containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
