TL;DR

Staff SDET Engineer: Designing, developing, and maintaining advanced test automation frameworks, driving innovative testing practices, and significantly raising the quality bar across the entire development lifecycle with an accent on web, API, backend services. Focus on integrating performance and load tests into the CI/CD pipeline, debugging complex system failures, and mentoring junior SDETs.

What you will do

• Architect, develop, and implement highly scalable test automation frameworks across multiple platforms.
• Serve as the technical authority on testing methodologies and integrate new automated tools.
• Drive high standards for test code quality and maintainability.
• Design and execute advanced non-functional tests, including performance and load tests.
• Partner with development and product teams to integrate testing practices early in the development lifecycle.
• Coach and mentor junior and mid-level SDETs and software engineers.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in Playwright automation framework.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipeline architectures.
• Comprehensive knowledge of REST API testing methodologies and tools.
• Exceptional communication and articulation capabilities.
• Strong engineering mindset with exceptional problem-solving acumen.

Nice to have

• Demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching junior-level engineers.
• Substantive experience with agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices and containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS or Azure.
• Technical proficiency with the K6 load testing framework.
