What you will do

• Design and develop machine learning models for video-text retrieval, multimodal ranking, and query understanding.
• Translate research findings into production-level improvements for search quality, latency, and engagement.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy AI systems at web-scale.
• Define evaluation metrics and conduct rigorous A/B tests to measure model performance.
• Stay current with advances in vision-language models and video understanding to solve complex product challenges.
• Document research and experimental results to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years for Bachelor's or 1+ year for Master's degree holders in research or applied science.
• Professional experience contributing to peer-reviewed publications, patents, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with video or multimodal ML systems, such as retrieval or captioning.
• Proficiency with large-scale training frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Deep understanding of search/ranking systems, offline evaluation (NDCG, MRR), and experimentation.
