Data & Applied Scientist II (AI): Designing and analyzing A/B experiments to drive product and business decisions with an accent on statistical rigor, causal inference, and AI-enabled workflows. Location: Must be based in the U.S. and able to commute to a designated hirify.global office at least four days per week.

Salary: $100,600 – $215,400 per year.

What you will do

• Design, analyze, and interpret end-to-end A/B experiments from hypothesis to decision.
• Define success metrics and evaluation windows aligned with business goals.
• Diagnose experimentation challenges such as bias, interference, and metric sensitivity.
• Partner with product, engineering, and design teams to influence product direction using data.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate analysis, code generation, and insight reporting.
• Contribute to internal standards for statistical rigor and experimentation workflows.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field OR Master’s + 1 year of experience OR Bachelor’s + 2 years of experience.
• Strong foundation in applied statistics, including hypothesis testing and causal reasoning.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one analytical programming language such as Python or R.
• Proven ability to derive reliable insights from noisy or imperfect real-world data.
• Strong communication skills for presenting complex results to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to meet office attendance requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in experimentation methods and Bayesian/frequentist approaches.
• Background in operations research or econometrics.
• Demonstrated experience integrating AI-assisted tools into analytical pipelines.
