What you will do

• Design and implement LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions tailored for large enterprise infrastructures.
• Configure and optimize network routing and switching using Cisco Nexus and Arista hardware.
• Manage VXLAN overlay networking to support scalable data center operations.
• Configure IP routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and RIP.
• Maintain detailed technical design documentation for engineering teams.
• Collaborate within an agile environment to manage network changes via Jira and ServiceNow.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Irving, TX for hybrid work.
• 5+ years of professional experience in network engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with Cisco Nexus or Arista product lines.
• 5+ years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP) in large environments.
• Proven expertise in VXLAN overlay networking.
• Strong proficiency in designing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions.

Nice to have

• CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification (Data Center preferred).
• Experience with automation tools like Python and Ansible.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub.
• Proficiency with QoS configurations and Layer 2 protocols like Spanning Tree and EVPN.
