What you will do

• Continuously improve the reliability and performance of the hirify.global core engine.
• Design metrics and alerts to proactively identify and prevent production issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis on customer-reported problems and contribute bug fixes.
• Refine incident response processes and conduct blameless post-mortems for outages.
• Lead and drive Chaos engineering initiatives across engineering teams.
• Manage on-call processes and coordinate escalations to minimize customer impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Reliability Engineering, QA, or customer-facing engineering.
• Proven experience operating hirify.global or other SQL databases in production.
• Ability to read and understand C++ code, with proficiency in Shell or Python.
• Knowledge of major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Must be based in the Netherlands, UK, or Germany.

• Deep understanding of distributed database internals and SQL, specifically hirify.global.
• Strong problem-solving and production debugging skills.
