What you will do

• Define and execute the engineering roadmap for cloud security, including container, serverless, and runtime protection.
• Lead development of low-latency security solutions processing massive telemetry data from millions of sensors.
• Build, mentor, and scale world-class engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and operational rigor.
• Partner with Product Management to translate market needs into high-impact, scalable security capabilities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer-facing teams, and Engineering peers to ensure product success.
• Represent engineering strategy at the executive level, driving alignment across a remote-first, global organization.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with significant tenure in distributed systems and software lifecycles.
• Proven leadership experience managing large, distributed engineering organizations.
• Deep technical background in systems-level languages such as Golang or C/C++.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, cloud-native architecture, and performance-critical systems.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling teams in fast-growing, high-stakes environments.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills for an executive-level role.

Nice to have

• Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with eBPF and modern Linux internals.
• Experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or security research.
• Background in machine learning applied to large-scale detection systems.
