What you will do

• Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance backend features using Rust.
• Contribute to architectural direction and implement solutions for complex technical challenges.
• Create standards-compliant software components with a focus on open-source contributions.
• Identify and drive improvements in product quality, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams, including product, design, and infrastructure.
• Elevate engineering standards through mentorship and commitment to best practices.

Requirements

• Strong backend development expertise with Rust.
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js.
• Proven track record in developing distributed systems.
• Expertise in cloud computing environments (AWS).
• Strong advocate for privacy by design and security-first principles.
• Must be able to work on a hybrid basis in Berlin, Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with Dart.
• Expertise in decentralized identity solutions.
