What you will do

• Manage daily operations of colocation data centers ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Maintain high availability of critical infrastructure including power, cooling, and networking systems in collaboration with service providers.
• Monitor and enforce service-level agreements (SLAs) with landlords and vendors to minimize downtime.
• Document operational dependencies, manage supplier contracts, and track success metrics.
• Drive service implementation, quality audits, and training for support teams to optimize service delivery.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain safety, security, and infrastructure manageability.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data center operations and facilities management.
• Strong technical knowledge of critical power, cooling, and networking systems.
• Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
• Experience in managing teams or external service providers.
• Proactive mindset in identifying operational issues and improving existing processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft data center environments.
• Certifications such as ISO 27001, C5, IT-Grundschutz, or EN 50600.
• Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) or Manager (CDCM) credentials.
