What you will do

• Build scalable and reliable backend services for real-time AI assistance.
• Design clean, maintainable APIs and data flows for system integrations.
• Collaborate with product managers and ML engineers to implement AI features.
• Contribute to architecture reviews and continuous system improvement.
• Take end-to-end ownership of projects from design to production deployment.
• Work across the stack including frontend and infrastructure layers as needed.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Romania, the US, or Canada.
• 3+ years of experience in professional software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in backend development (Python, Go, or Node).
• Experience designing and maintaining APIs (REST, gRPC).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL or Elasticsearch.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with frontend development frameworks like React.
• Experience with ClickHouse or similar analytical databases.
