What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain evaluation frameworks to measure model accuracy, robustness, and latency for ASR and NLP systems.
• Lead ASR quality improvement efforts including error analysis, dataset curation, and metric definition.
• Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models for speech recognition, entity recognition, and information extraction.
• Analyze large-scale speech and text data to identify failure modes and drive targeted model improvements.
• Collaborate with applied research, product, and platform teams to translate experimental gains into production-ready insights.
• Establish best practices for continuous model validation and monitoring in production environments.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience building, evaluating, and deploying ML models in production.
• Deep background in speech recognition (ASR) and speech processing.
• Expertise in model evaluation, benchmarking, and error analysis for complex ML systems.
• Proficiency with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.
