Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Stockholm office (primarily on-site, with possibility of hybrid work).

What you will do
- Coach and develop a team of 10+ engineers through 1:1s and clear growth plans.
- Challenge system design and technical decisions to ensure high standards of quality, maintainability, and scalability.
- Partner with Staff Engineers to define engineering standards and identify recurring technical challenges.
- Own performance management, including calibration and compensation discussions.
- Drive the adoption of modern development practices and AI-augmented workflows.
- Attract and close strong engineering talent through the hiring process.
Requirements
- Must be able to work from the Stockholm office.
- Recent, hands-on experience as a software engineer, tech lead, or similar role in production systems.
- Strong background in system design, code quality, and modern testing/observability strategies.
- Proven ability to provide actionable technical feedback and coach engineers through complex challenges.
- Experience in defining and raising engineering standards across multiple teams.
- Comfortable working in an English-speaking environment.
Nice to have
- Experience in a product-led SaaS environment.
- Background in driving large-scale architectural shifts.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
