What you will do

• Implement security controls using automation tools like CDK, Checkov, and AWS Config rules.
• Define and review security standards across a broad range of AWS services in enterprise-grade solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to balance cloud service configuration flexibility with robust security posture.
• Translate high-level security frameworks (NIST, CIS) into actionable engineering patterns.
• Participate in automated incident response design and vulnerability management activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cybersecurity.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud security and infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK) and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Proven knowledge of IAM, network security, and endpoint protection.
• Familiarity with SSDLC practices, including SAST, DAST, and SCA.
• Knowledge of SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response procedures.

Nice to have

• Relevant security or cloud certifications such as Security+, CCSP, CCSK, or AWS Security Expert.
• Experience working within enterprise-scale cloud environments.
