TL;DR

Senior Cloud Security Engineer (GCP): Strengthening the security posture of a modern fintech platform with an accent on cloud infrastructure protection, regulatory compliance, and threat detection. Focus on implementing Security Command Center Enterprise, managing automated incident response, and driving DevSecOps integration across engineering teams.

Location: Must be based in Amsterdam (Hybrid: 1-2 days at the office)

What you will do

  • Manage and configure Google Cloud Security Command Center Enterprise.
  • Define and implement security standards, policies, and secure development guidelines.
  • Ensure continuous compliance with industry standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and DORA.
  • Collaborate with platform teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor for threats, manage vulnerabilities, and develop automated response playbooks.
  • Act as the subject-matter expert for security design reviews and incident response.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience in cloud security.
  • Expert knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms and cloud security posture management.
  • Strong background in Infrastructure as Code security (Terraform, Kubernetes).
  • Ability to work from the Amsterdam office on a hybrid basis.
  • Strong communication skills to translate security concepts to various stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GCSA, or GIAC.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with penetration testing and secure coding practices.
  • Background in regulated industries or financial services.
