What you will do

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python, FastAPI, Kafka, and Redis.
• Develop resilient event-driven architectures to support subscription management.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and accuracy through proactive monitoring and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate microservices.
• Address technical debt and optimize distributed system components.
• Safely integrate LLMs to accelerate and improve development processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Python.
• Strong backend experience in Node.js, Golang, or Java if Python experience is less than 5 years.
• Hands-on experience building REST APIs and microservices communication patterns.
• Proficiency in Kafka, AWS ecosystem, and database technologies like DynamoDB or SQL.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, durability, and scalability.
• Operational knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of React or Javascript.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals such as HTTP, TLS, and TCP.
• Computer Science degree or equivalent.
