TL;DR

Senior QA Automation Tester: Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and suites to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance across platforms with an accent on validating functionality through automated testing. Focus on improving test coverage, reliability, and efficiency through metrics and tooling.

Location: Bucharest, Romania. Hybrid Working Policy

What you will do

Develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks and libraries.
Design, implement, and execute automated test scripts (UI, API, Batch, Interfaces, Integration, Performance).
Create and maintain test data, environments, and CI/CD pipelines for automated and manual testing.
Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with developers to triage and resolve defects.
Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and efficiency through metrics and tooling.
Support the continuous improvement process and propose your own measures.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Strong programming skills (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) and experience with at least one automation framework (e.g., Robot, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium).
Solid experience with API testing (RESTful/SOAP) and tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team & in a collaborative environment.
English: C1 required; additional languages (French) are appreciated.

Nice to have

Payment domain knowledge is a plus: Card issuing, clearing/settlement, schemes.
Previous experience as a Full Stack SW Engineer is a plus.
