What you will do

• Design and develop high-quality code to improve platform reliability, availability, and scalability
• Implement and tune robust APIs and frameworks for multi-tenant environments
• Orchestrate complex systems where AI agents integrate seamlessly into human workflows
• Lead, collaborate with, and mentor other engineers within the organization
• Build novel capabilities and services by extending complex cloud platforms
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain high service availability

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Deep knowledge of Java and relational databases
• Experience developing client-side code via JavaScript or TypeScript
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and Web Services (REST, SOAP, GraphQL)
• Must be based in or authorized to work in San Francisco, California
• Proven AI-first approach to engineering using tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code
• Technical degree required
