TL;DR

Fullstack Developer (Python/Django): Building and enhancing client-facing applications for a global technology consulting firm with an accent on backend logic, frontend reactivity, and robust system integration. Location: Must be based in Cape Town (Hybrid: 2 days per week in CBD office)

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain client-facing applications using Python and Django/Flask.
  • Build and integrate robust RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
  • Develop and enhance front-end features using React.
  • Optimize SQL databases to ensure high application performance.
  • Collaborate on process automation and integrate AI tools where applicable.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Must be able to work from the Cape Town CBD office 2 days per week.
  • Proficiency in Python and Django or Flask frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and SQL databases.
  • Experience with React, version control via Github, and authentication protocols.

  • Practical experience with generative AI tools and automation workflows.
