What you will do

  • Architect and refine automated CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build for secure release management.
  • Design, build, and optimize high-performance ETL pipelines within BigQuery.
  • Enhance batch processing, including scheduled queries and performance-tuned delta loads.
  • Implement advanced monitoring, logging, and alerting to drive efficient incident response.
  • Develop scalable event-driven architectures leveraging Pub/Sub, Workflows, and EventArc.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and best-practice standards in Confluence.

Requirements

  • Proven professional track record as a Data Engineer on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Expert-level proficiency with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Workflows, and EventArc.
  • Advanced technical skills in SQL, Python, and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Build and GitHub Actions workflows.
  • Strong background in orchestrating and optimizing complex ETL pipelines and real-time processing patterns.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
