What you will do

• Develop and implement secure code for cryptographic controls throughout the infrastructure.
• Review the technology stack to ensure robust security guardrails and help teams resolve vulnerabilities.
• Build resilient components that ensure asset and data security across the product ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain threat models for internal and external cryptosystem guarantees.
• Lead large security initiatives, coordinating across engineering boundaries to drive projects to completion.
• Mentor engineers and influence the security-first culture across the broader team.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Strong foundation in applied cryptography including symmetric/asymmetric encryption and key management.
• Demonstrated ability to write secure code in Go, C++, C, or Rust.
• Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) for key generation and management.
• Solid understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, RBAC).
• Capacity to troubleshoot cryptographic issues and perform threat modeling.
