What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain high-availability database environments across cloud and on-premises platforms.
• Monitor and optimize database performance through indexing, partitioning, and capacity planning.
• Ensure robust security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies are implemented and tested.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in production to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with application and DevOps teams on database deployments, upgrades, and migrations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of database monitoring tools, data quality, and backup strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
• English proficiency: Intermediate or higher.
• Based in Mexico City for hybrid work.
