What you will do

• Translate the strategic Shift roadmap into actionable delivery plans and clear priorities for engineering teams.
• Manage and refine the product backlog, including the creation of user stories, epics, and testable acceptance criteria.
• Define requirements for API behaviors, observability, operational workflows, and field-readiness.
• Collaborate with SRE and automation teams to implement Infrastructure-as-Code, GitOps, and CI/CD enablement.
• Coordinate agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, refinement, and release management.
• Facilitate post-incident reviews to capture learnings and prioritize necessary technical improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within a software environment.
• Technical fluency with API-first products, microservices, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps/SRE practices.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Southbank, VIC.

Nice to have

• Experience in broadcast/IP-based media workflows (e.g., SMPTE ST 2110, NMOS).
• Exposure to network operating systems (NOS) or integration with OEM/ODM networking hardware.
• Familiarity with service-provider routing and traffic engineering (TE) protocols.
• Ability to read/write OpenAPI/Swagger definitions and define API contracts.
