What you will do

• Lead traffic growth and audience acquisition across search, social, referral, and emerging platforms.
• Own the full funnel from first click through subscription conversion, optimizing engagement and retention.
• Develop and optimize paywall strategies, messaging, and user flows to increase conversions.
• Analyze performance across traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics to inform strategy.
• Partner with editorial teams to optimize headlines, packaging, timing, and content distribution.
• Drive experimentation across channels, messaging, and user experiences to improve performance.

Requirements

• Background in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in digital publishing, audience development, or growth marketing for news or media organizations.
• Proven track record of driving traffic growth and subscription conversion through data driven strategies.
• Strong understanding of SEO, content distribution, and platform dynamics including Google Discover.
• Experience testing and optimizing paywalls, user flows, and conversion strategies.
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable growth initiatives.
