What you will do

• Design and maintain high-scale synthetic and real-world data pipelines for power grid optimization.
• Implement comprehensive unit, integration, and system tests to ensure model reliability.
• Optimize and maintain the machine learning codebase for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with research scientists and product managers to translate research into impactful real-world solutions.
• Establish benchmarking workflows to monitor and improve model performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, or Jax required.
• Proven experience in building solutions for robustness and software quality assurance.
• Experience processing and analyzing large-scale datasets for machine learning applications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary research teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google technical stacks or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with GPU or TPU hardware acceleration.
• Background in translational research or production software environments.
• Proficiency in Julia.
