TL;DR
Head Of Information Security & IT (Igaming): Leading the organization's information security strategy and internal technology environment with an accent on regulatory compliance, risk management, and operational security maturity. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Newcastle-upon-Tyne for hybrid work (2 days/week)

What you will do
- Define and execute the information security strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with ISO27001, SOC2, and PCI-DSS.
- Lead and mentor a team of eight professionals across both information security and corporate IT functions.
- Oversee operational security, including vulnerability management, incident response, and threat detection.
- Manage identity and access management (IAM) services and ensure secure endpoint configuration for both Windows and macOS estates.
- Provide transparent security reporting and assurance to the CTO and senior executive leadership.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security-by-design principles into the software and platform development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Significant experience in leadership roles within information security and corporate IT.
- Strong technical expertise in the Microsoft security ecosystem (Defender, Sentinel, Entra, E5).
- Proven experience managing enterprise endpoint environments using Intune and Jamf.
- Deep knowledge of modern security frameworks, Zero Trust models, and regulated environments.
- Must be available for on-site work in Newcastle-upon-Tyne at least two days a week.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and regulatory engagements.
