What you will do

• Lead development of major team-scoped projects for HR and Payroll products.
• Redesign engineering workflows to integrate autonomous agents as the default execution layer.
• Build reusable agentic workflows and primitives to be applied across domains.
• Provide code reviews, mentor engineers, and participate in cross-team initiatives.
• Implement verification loops, including tests and guardrails, to ensure system reliability and security.

Requirements

• English: Professional proficiency required
• Strong fundamentals in building secure, reliable, and scalable production systems.
• Practical experience with agentic or automation workflows and iterative improvement.
• Deep understanding of system design, including spec definition and quality verification.
• Experience with Postgres and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work autonomously in a distributed, async team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with functional programming languages such as Elixir, Erlang, or Haskell.
• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks like React or Next.js.
